Considering the fundamental difference between LGA and PGA it isn't that stupid.

Sure, you would have to return either the motherboard or the CPU, but neither part would be damaged.

 

That is unless we're speaking of AMD's LGA based server platforms.

When I was a kid, I tried washing my Dad's brand new BMW with gravel.

When I was in Highschool, there was a big clock hanging from the roof, I wanted to impress my friends and show them how I can manage to reach the clock with a jump. I underestimated my jumpforce (I'm 6'3" and play volleyball) and smashed the clock to the ground. It broke in a thousand pieces. Detention.

When I got my first car, I was on reverse inside the garage while I thought I was in 1st gear, drove backwards and smashed all the 5 bikes. The car also had a big dent on the back
