Whats your bottleneck ?

HiddenFox

I'm suspecting my ram of bottlenecking me in BF4.

CPU: Ryzen 2600 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: ddr4 3000Mhz 4x8GB  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.

1. Internet speed

2. Gigabit ethernet speed

Oh internet speeds. Didnt think of that one, but a good point, definitely my bottleneck there. I will go down from biggest bottleneck to smallest.

1. GPU especially because I game at 1600p my 680 is really being pushed to her limits.

2. My storage since I only game I only got a 250gb Intel 335 not the fastest and I only have 21gbs free...

3. CPU the 3770k is by no means bad, but it could be better

4. Memory 2133mhz of CAS 9 Dominator GT is not weak but i obly have 2 4gb dimms

5. My display Dell Ultrasharp u3011 is IMO the best 30" IPS available, but having more would be a cool experience or a higher refresh rate display.

6. PSU 1000w is pretty much all I could need, fully fully sleeved, modular, nice red led fan, quiet, I love the OCZ Fatal3ty shame they are in rough waters

7. Keyboard/mouse Tesero Durundal brown switches and steel series sensei. These hold nothing back and until rgb cherry switches are out I would never co sided an upgrade

8. Audio. This one is so low because I do not know of a better pair of headphones for gaming than the AD700x. I run a ThunderFX external DAC/AMP and beyerdynamic custom one pros for music.

10. Mobo. The maximus 5 formula is as good as it gets for z77 IMO. Everything I could ever use and more.

11. Case. My HAF-X may not look good to some but it has room for anything and cooling like you would not believe. I get cold sitting near it.

I think thats it and i hope this doesn't sound too much like a "first world problems" post.

Planning on a new case, mobo, cpu, ram and cpu cooler sometime next year.

EVERYTHING!

In short Ihave a cheap Acer laptop, but a real gamer rig coming in soon(when I have the money for it)

Samsung 840pro 128

Seagate 1TB Barracuda

Windows 7 HP

So I should not get a bottleneck from day1

If you have a halfway decent CPU made in the last few years, chances are the only bottleneck has to do with your GPU, whether it be your card, or RAM, in the case of an APU. My bottleneck, by the way, is my graphics card, thinking about grabbing another 7970 for XFire, though I really don't need it yet

Main Machines~ Prometheus - i7 3930k @ 4.5GHz, X79-UD3, HyperX Blu 1600Mhz 24Gb (2x8Gb, 2x4Gb), XFX Double-D 7970, H100i, Military green C70, TX850M, All Corsair SP/AF-120 fans, Samsung 840 Pro 128Gb, 750Gb Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM x2, NZXT Hue accent lights (wouldn't reccommend, they don't stick well). Laptop~ Asus X202E touch notebook- 500Gb 5400RPM 7mm HDD, 4Gb RAM-not upgradeable, 1.8GHz i3, HD4000

Technically your graphics card is still a bottleneck, remember, a bottleneck is, strictly speaking, anything that can be upgraded and give you better performance

CPU, I dunno I have a pretty well rounded system, but CPU atm doesn't take advantage of mobo options

If I get an unlocked CPU I'd have to get a H100i, if I got a H100i I'd have to get a new case.

Arrgh

Could get a new GPU would also need a new PSU

My i5 3450 seems to be doing okay with my 7950 and will be alright with my future R9 290. But I'll probably upgrade my CPU next.

I'm not entirely sure what my bottleneck is, I have a pretty well rounded system. If I had to pick one, it would be my GPU, it's still not quite strong enough to run 5760x1080 at max with all games.

Motherboard is the biggest bottleneck in my system. I cannot get Sata 3 speed on my SSD.

That is a good CPU, I can't see you having any issues with those GPU's.
