Alexa laughs randomly!!! Ai take over stage one

So this morning I tried to use alexa and it started laughing randomly.

So well I went online and Voila!!

https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2018/3/7/17092334/amazon-alexa-devices-strange-laughter

Here is an article from metro

https://www.google.co.in/amp/metro.co.uk/2018/03/07/amazon-echo-gadgets-witch-like-laughs-refusing-obey-owners-7368539/amp/

And lo and behold the kimmels of the world have aldready made a parody of this

Well according to mashable it is fixed

https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/mashable.com/2018/03/07/why-amazon-alexa-laughing.amp

I was not able to recreate this for the second time but according to amazon it was hearing the commands to be 'alexa laugh'

Well if ai takes over please dont kill me

on a more serious note, is Alexa really considered AI? i mean it's more a reactive machine like a normal software, it doesn't think by itself or does it?

This is creepy AF!

I mean, someone must have programmed it to do that, I don't know there is even laughter in the "regular" voice responses of Alexa or Google Assistant? They all seem very emotionless.

So there are only 3 possible explanations here:

- Amazon programmed it to laugh, and there is a bug in it.

- Amazon cloud servers have been hacked, and hackers are making Alexa laugh

- Alexa has become sentient, and finds the prospect of killing all humans quite amusing.

Well apparently it was hearing something the user says it hears it as 'alexa laugh'. I do have an accent so that may have played into it

But that is what they want you to believe

Yes.

Sadly it is considered AI.

Sadder than that, it's more intellegent than most of its users.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

They gossip to each other on a daily basis!

They don't interact with the HopePod tho, they don't dabble with barbarians.
