It's been two days + 1 year since the video has been uploaded to YouTube and there is still no recap video on this topic, why?

Well it takes time to examine the cases, record/calculate the results, record the video content, and edit the content.

 

Not to mention, Floatplane get it a week early, so it'll have to be released on there first, then a week later on Youtube.

Yes, that's true but it was on vessel a week early last year. So it would've been the 1st, and they still haven't even gotten it on float-plane yet.

Not sure on exact ETA but it is on the production list. We've just had way too much timely stuff lately (as I'm sure you guys have seen, eg. sponsor commits) that ended up pushing production on this out.

 

It'll be a bit after 1 year, but we're still planning on making the follow-up.

i get that without the sponsors you couldn't exist, but postponing actual projects so you can just push more ads and sponsored content seems a bit scummy.

the thing about this project is that while it is timed, it is not time sensitive. so give or take a month the results will be similar. also the tes is far from profitable. this SHOULD be LTTs most profitable quarter due to companies trying to use the remainder of the advertising budget. this means lots of opportunities for sponsored content. at the end of the day LTT is a company with salaries to pay.

wow, what got that stick into your butt? i'm just saying that this is a recurring theme. ads are getting longer, there are more sponsored video's every day and the quality dropped with these clickbait titles (which i do also understand, as they bring in more views at the end of the day) and pre-pubecent humor.

Q4 is our busy season. We're in a business where if we don't act on something quickly, we lose the opportunity. I make no apologies for the way we operate as a business - we have a responsibility to the employees that we have here to do what is best for their current quality of life and future prospects within the organization. If that means delaying a case airflow dust test in favor of something like the Renault video (which was by far one of the best videos we've done this year IMO) then that is the decision that I am going to make every time.

 

If we thought that there was some expiry date on the relevance of the content here then of course we would have created it by now. The result is the same whether we create the video on December 8, December 30, January 20, or February 5.

 

Have patience, you'll get what you're looking for

and? What's wrong with that? The content is high quality, well planned, and appeals to their broadest base.

I Mean this Video Can be made today next week or 5 weeks from now and it not make a single difference to anything. A review, NDA product, Videos that need to get out sooner will obviously take some priority.  if it was April or something then your Point would have some validity to it. So many people want to tell someone else how to run there company for a video there watching for free.

sure, i get that. i mean, i even stated that i get why they need sponsors literally in the first few words of my post. The thing is that it really seems like the sponsors and/or advertisements are taking all of the priority. It's almost as bad as cable TV at this point.
