Apple iPhone 10 (x) and another post I see on fb

Geekbench is heavily optimized for ARM and so x86 and ARM metrics aren't comparable in any sense.

Do they even run the same tests on mobile cpu's compared to desktop/laptop cpu's?

I think it should be pretty obvious to anyone who stops to actually think about this for a second rather than accepting it at face value that this is not and cannot be true, and thus the benchmark must not be comparable across architectures.

Of course people on facebook that have no clue are going to see this and just believe it as fact, reinforcing for them how godlike apple is -_-

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

If you see someone doing this sort of comparison with geekbench, you can be sure they are not a trustworthy publication.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

  1. Geekbench is a bad benchmark
  2. You shouldn't compare Geekbench X86 scores to Geekbench mobile scores.

But you can, the world needs people who actually know what's going on to set the facts straight or people just drift farther and farther from the truth

We should start with your grammar first. I don't really care about the people who believe this, they are idiots. If Geekbench gets banned from here, the idiots will not get any new info regarding that shit benchmark.

If by epic you mean cringe-worthy to the point of making you want to move to a new planet, then yes, I can only imagine...

People do realize that Geekbench is optimized for Arm processors right? For those of you who don't know Arm processors only accept a fraction of the instructions that an x86 chip can, so Geekbench is basically trying to eat apple sauce with a fork when it comes to the i5.
