Twitch to Ban PS4 Users who Stream Non-Gaming Content

Apparently Twitch is banning PS4 Users who Stream Non-Gaming Content. This happen because a PS4 owner that was drunk streamed his wife's Boobs to the world . Therefore Twitch got a little angry and said "NO NON-GAMING CONTENT WILL BE STREAMED FROM PS4." This is just silly that person was probably really drunk.

 

After the big fiasco where a man revealed his wife's boobs to the world word on live TV (long story short, they were drunk and that guy is getting a divorce), Twitch has decided to tighten its grip on its service, which is available to all PlayStation 4 owners in North America out-of-the-box. Users who are streaming any content that is not related to gaming, will be banned, and rightly so seeing the current scenario.

 

Non-gaming content ©: If using PS4 Playroom, the content must be about games or gaming and within our ToS. Thanks for understanding. 2/2

Many people are using Twitch as a platform to increase their popularity, earn more views and ultimately earn more money (ads). Well, to such people, there are other platforms (YouTube) where you can continue with your money minting. Leave gamers be.

*facepalms* People, this is NOT a new rule, made up just for PS4 users. In fact, it has ALWAYS been this way. In fact, the exact line would read

1. Content that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable;

• Non-gaming content: Not sure if you noticed this, but Twitch is a place for games. Video games, board games, LARP games -- you name it. And while it's nice to take a break and just chill out with your audience, please ensure that your channel's primary focus is on gaming content.
