Is 10GB finally making its way to the consumer market? This means I no longer need to use second hand 4-port gigabit server cards in all of my systems.

but we still don't have many 10Gb switches that cost less then $500

asus has a 2x10Gb 8x1Gb switch for $250.

Don't waste your money on the Poseidon cards. The 'watercooling' on them is not good, its essentially just a fluid channel through the heatpipes used for air cooling. You'll get much better temps from a proper waterblock on your FE cards, or even an AIO cooler like the EVGA Hybrid kit.

I assume you mean this one?  If you recommend it I'll order it.  I've never installed a kit before, it shouldn't be too hard.

You could also do it with kraken g10 and a asustek aio.

Which one would be the best of the three?

I'm quite aware, but I'll take God of Sega over God of tuna and salt-water.

Neptune and Plutia are the godesses of PC gaming, in their respective dimensions, and then there is Neptune, who isn't a goddess but still a badass Nep.

Gameindustri and HDN parody the console wars as they were in the PS3/X360/Wii days, with allusions of Atari, Sega, etc. being relics of eras of prior Goddesses.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

Anyone know the release date and price for the PG27UQ?  If it is around $500 or less I might buy one.

Best? It would be custom loop. Cheapest, i guess the kraken and reuse a corsair aio if possible.

The 10gbe card seems useless tough. Switches cost far too much.

Price isn't an issue for me, I'd pay any amount of money to not have my living room sound like a freaking airport while I'm playing games.  I don't have time to do a custom loop-I guess I'll grab two of the EVGA ones.

Gamers Nexus has a video series where they make a 'hybrid' 1080 Ti FE.  They use a 1070/1080 waterblock cooler on the 1080 Ti.  Link is here.

I'll snag that NIC if it's sub $80

I'd be pretty surprised if it was.

On another note, I really wish Asus ROG monitors didn't have that copper color on them. If they just made it all black i'd strongly consider an ROG monitor.

Then $80 used lol. I'm set up for SFP+ 10G but I'd like a RJ45 NIC especially with the black and grey hotness.

All 3 monitors has RGB lighting on the back side of the monitor

Damn, Asus, that's not how it works: colorful light was supposed to come off the front of the monitor!

Ok, but where is the MG24UQ going? It's out of stock almost everywhere in Europe and the price has gone up by almost 100€

More Asus stuff that I won't care about.

Though I am curious if quantum dot is around the corner for other vendors.

Literally.

The only things of interest are 10G Network Card, the screens, and the Swift 1080ti.

Everything
