Asus releases some new ROG products

Asus has recently released some new awesome hardware for enthusiast and gamers! To start off, here is the

 

Asus Strix GD30 Gaming Desktop

This gaming desktop from Asus is configured with the latest Intel 7th generation processor with Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics and let users even customized the front panel to what they like. For this to work, it's most likely done by 3D printing or Asus has some different front panel styles you can buy. It also comes with Asus Aura and RGB lighting.

ROG Strix Magnus Gaming USB Microphone

ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 gaming router

New gaming router from Asus. Tri-band 802.11AC with 1x WAN, 2x USB 3.0, and 8x gigabit lan ports. It also support link aggregation where connecting 2 ethernet cables will give you 2Gb/s of connection. Out of the 8 gigabit ports, 2 of them are dedicated for gaming, where the router will prioritize gaming traffic over services.

ROG Areion 10G Ethernet card

Asus ROG Swift PG27VQ, PG27UQ, and ROG Strix XG27VQ

3 new monitors from Asus. 2 of them part of their ROG Swift line up, and the other part of ROG Strix. On the ROG Swift side, you have the PG27VQ and PG27UQ and both of them are 27 inches. The PG27VQ is a curved display with a resolution of 2560x1440, with a refresh rate of 165Hz and supports Nvidia G-Sync. The PG27UQ is a non-curved HDR 4K display with a resolution of 3820x2160, 144Hz refresh rate. It also

Both of them uses Quantum Dot Technology. Finally the 3rd monitor on the list if the Asus ROG Swift XG27VQ. Also at 27 inch, it's a curved full HD monitor at 1920x1080 at 144Hz. Asus ROG Strix H270I Gaming ITX

Asus mini ITX motherboard that supports the latest 7th gen Kaby Lake processors running on socket 1151. It features a dual purpose heatsink that cools both the PCH as well as one out of the 2 M.2s.The other M.2 slot is on the underside of the board. Is 10GB finally making its way to the consumer market? This means I no longer need to use second hand 4-port gigabit server cards in all of my systems.

They should retail for -100 over the FEs, but AIBs don't care and will make you pay $150 just for the "improved design" regardless of what Nvidia says.

Judging by the 1080 launch, poorly with very low supply for the increased cash flow. They were about a month late the last time IIRC.

Not if they don't QC them like they apparently haven't been with the other 500$+ gaming monitors they currently sell.  Hopefully they will step up their game with the new product line

Don't waste your money on the Poseidon cards. The 'watercooling' on them is not good, its essentially just a fluid channel through the heatpipes used for air cooling. You'll get much better temps from a proper waterblock on your FE cards, or even an AIO cooler like the EVGA Hybrid kit.
