Neptune and Plutia are the godesses of PC gaming,

Aren't they supposed to be parodies of Sega post- and pre-SNES era. Iris being the heartless, sadistic SEGA that tried to destroy the competition while Neptune shows the side that they are still trying to grow into their prime?

You are USDA-certified incorrect! It has to be the GPU with an integrated water block. Like seriously, those temps are going to be horrendous if not used with water and, if I know PC gamers, one or more is bound to use that with the fans only.

Nope (get ready for a novel). Each godess represents one of the 4 large platforms when the first game was being made, and the personalities of each goddess is essentially the opposite of the steriotypes associated with their respective platform at the time (at least in Japan).

At the time, and to a lesser extent now, the PC gaming space was seen as a psuedofacist space that was extremely concerned about graphics and what platform everyone played, and the only games worth playing are the newest AAA games (mainly because benchmarks, but whatever). Neptune contrasts that greatly, she doesn't really care about having the best graphics or what platform she's on. If it has good gameplay or story, she's happy. Her tendency towards some older games alludes to the general backwars compatibility that PC enjoys, and well as the selection of emulators for systems that a collector might pay thousands for. The only thing that matches up with stereotype is that she basically only games and slacks off.

And that lines up with the writing of the other characters.

Nintendo was family friendly, warm, party game system. Blanc is a foul mouthed and cold hearted girl that doesn't exactly enjoy the company of others. More or less, a bitch, and perhaps my favorite character, rivaled by IF and Uzume. Neptune and Neptune are tied for an EXTREMELY close 4th.

Xbox was also a psuedofacist steriotype, that was all about Fable, Halo, and less demanding AAA titles, and the users would rather fight about the better console than play, but they still play. Vert was a hardcore (primarily) MMO gamer.

Playstation was a Japanese title oriented, casual gaming platform, as per steriotype. Niore isn't casual about anything, she's dressed in lollita that derives from European dress, and LaStation more resembles Steam/Dieselpunk and Industrial Revolution era England. She also basically doesn't game, unless someone else brings her into it.

I can't tell you about Plutia, Peashea, or Uzume, nor do I know that much about the CPU Candidates. The second and third games weren't that enjoyable to me, nor is the first Re:Birth.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.
