Guest

I currently own three: Gigabyte Windforce 970, EVGA 560 Ti, and an ASUS DirectCUII 660 Ti.

Sapphire HD6850 (Vapor-X?  It's on a shelf)

Sapphire R9 270x (was a dual-X, now has a water block and enzotech heatsinks on the ram and VRM's.  Still doesn't OC worth a damn, but it's quiet.  Anyways it's on a shelf too)

Powercolor RX 470 Red Devil (bone stock.  I might eventually water cool it, I dunno).

SFF-ish:  Ryzen 5 1600X, Asrock AB350M Pro4, 16GB Corsair LPX 3200, Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro -75mV, 512gb Plextor Nvme m.2, 512gb Sandisk SATA m.2, Cryorig H7, stuffed into an Inwin 301 with rgb front panel mod.  LG27UD58.

Aging Workhorse:  Phenom II X6 1090T Black (4GHz #Yolo), 16GB Corsair XMS 1333, RX 470 Red Devil 4gb (Sold for $330 to Cryptominers), HD6850 1gb, Hilariously overkill Asus Crosshair V, 240gb Sandisk SSD Plus, 4TB's worth of mechanical drives, and a bunch of water/glycol.  Coming soon:  Bykski CPU block, whatever cheap Polaris 10 GPU I can get once miners start unloading them.

MintyFreshMedia:  Thinkserver TS130 with i3-3220, 4gb ecc ram, 120GB Toshiba/OCZ SSD booting Linux Mint XFCE, 2TB Hitachi Ultrastar.  In Progress:  3D printed drive mounts, 4 2TB ultrastars in RAID 5.

I hoard all my old PC parts, so for me it's my Fury Nitro (current card), R9 390, GTX 580 reference, and then my HD 4850.

I purchased that 4850 in 2009 when I was in high school, which went into my very first build... which I still have today. Sentiment is strong.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Peripherals - Corsair K70 Lux RGB | Corsair Scimitar RGB | Audio-technica ATH M50X + Antlion Modmic 5 |

CPU/GPU history: Athlon 6000+/HD4850 > i7 2600k/GTX 580, R9 390, R9 Fury > i7 7700K/R9 Fury, 1080TI > Ryzen 1700/1080TI > i7 9700K/1080TI.

Other tech: Surface Pro 4 (i5/128GB), Lenovo Ideapad Y510P w/ Kali, OnePlus 6T (8G/128G), PS4 Slim.

I only have the blower - loud af 295. I thought there's no 780 Ti Lightning only a 780? I thought MSI cancelled those.

They did cancel but they made a handful of prototypes that they sent out, some went to LN2 overclockers and others went to reviewers. I want to try and locate one. I did get offered one from GeekBench but had been LN2 OC'ed.

6 I think atm, I've no idea what most are besides a fury, and 9800gt.

Though I recently sold, 6990, 2x 6970, 3 mx440, hd5450, and some gigabyte thing with no branding.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

Don't quite remember anymore, but

i think it's a 5750, a 7950 and gtx 970.

The 5000 series card did good until i

knocked off the fan shroud and started

taping it on :D

If i get out of my current living situation,

i might buy two 1070's or something

to claw my way up the folding leaderboard

again.

I would probably go with the 1070 or stretch to the 1080 if you can get a good deal on one.

In order of 3D performance instead of 2D quality (spoiler, S3 flogged the crap out of Nvidia).

  • Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 Pro 4MB (the S3 Virge DX)
  • Creative Riva 128ZX 8MB
  • No brand Nvidia Riva Vanta 16MB 64bit BUS (slightly beats the older TNT at 640x480, gets rekt at all other resolutions and even in old DOS games)
  • Diamond Viper V550 16MB 128bit BUS
  • 3DFX Diamond Monster II 12MB (Voodoo2)
  • 3DFX STB Voodoo2 12MB
  • Diamond Stealth III S540 32MB (shit in DirectX, awesome in OpenGL-better than the Geforce 256 if I remember correctly-shame about the inadequate cooling)
  • EVGA Geforce 6200 Turbocache 512MB (128MB DDR2 over a 64bit bus, the rest dynamically shared over AGP and recognised as being onboard)
  • No brand Geforce FX5500 256MB
  • Asus PCX5750 256MB (PCIe FX5700 Ultra)
  • Gigabyte GTX 650ti OC 2GB
  • Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming
