2018 CES, Intel and Corsair team up to introduce Cannonlake with LED RGB lighting on their CPUs, with CPUs being controllable with Corsair H-series AiO coolers. Kek, I hope this doesn't give them ideas...

Why don't you like RGB? It costs basically zero to add and adds infinite customization. There's rarely such a thing as too much customization. And you can just turn the LEDS off

RGB products are more expensive so it doesn't have a zero cost and it looks gaudy having so may lights on your PC

Compared to the cost of RAM chips RGB LEDS cost practically nothing to implement.

Also, like i said, you can just turn off the LEDS. They don't have to be gaudy

Most components got LEDs these days, I would rather they be RGB then a static color you cant do anything about, unless you mod.

Like the green Geforce logo on GPUs.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

You need to do a full RGB Build, or modify your desk PC to be fully RGB.

Also really like the new outro, like the old 2013 one. Makes the stupid new Youtube ending annotations seem intentional.

  • 2 weeks later...

What's missing from the RGB universe is RGB diskdrives. In fact, I'd love a spinny drive (not SSD) with glass case and RGB inside so you can see the heads seeking.

Maybe the head/arm can be coated with UV paint and blacklit.
