Not sure what my first GPU was, but I do know it came with my 086... Connected monitor was black/yellow.

Still-unknown AGP graphics card, which has nothing but single D-Sub on it.

I am old..

I used AGP cards when I was young...

First card I had was a 150$ Voodoo 128 MB VRAM

I can't tell the clock speed tho I was a noob back then, but still I knew what a gpu was and could install it myself :P

I can say at that time I was playin Counter Strike 1.5  in 480P @ 20 fps :)

Didn't get a video card for a long time but

My first was a NVidia fx5200 I think, it was the shitty half height version as well.

The second was better, AMD 3670.

Third was kinda shit, NVidia gt220.

Forth was an actual gfx card, AMD 5770.

Fifth was actually a real gfx card, AMD 7850.

And finally my current card, NVidia 980ti.

I remember when I bought my nvidia ge fore 6600 ULTRA

Yep, back then, the grades were : 6600 GT , 6600 GTX and the best was 6600 Ultra

Sadly they removed ultra and put GT or GTX at first now. I loved the Ultra word dunno why xD

NeoMagic NM2160B

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I had nothing but problems with my EVGA 560 Ti with its lifetime warranty.

That card just was "graphically challenged" to say the least. Sometimes it's DVI port would work and other times it would. RMA'ing just resulted in getting another challenged card. I hated the 560ti.  Eventually EVGA just upgraded it to a 670 since I was having so many issues and they ran out of stock on them.

Then that 670 was perfect. No issues, and I used it for a few years. It's still powering my i5 6500 machine to this day.

Galaxy GT 610. The thing certainly got me by, and could play SOME games. However, the fan was always at 100%. It was so cheap that there wasn't fan control support. With a tiny 40mm fan, you could guess the noise I'll never forget.

i7 4790k | GTX 970 | 16GB

That's all you need to know. It's a beast.

No issues here with any GPU technically, but glad when I could go single card over dual GPU solutions. My 680 still performs well, but not yet there that I want to upgrade now.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

I think my 9800 GX2 was the worst/most annoying card. Worst performing for the specs it had would have been my Diamond Stealth III 32mb AGP. Ditched it to go back to my Voodoo 3 2000 after a month.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

GeForce 2 MX was my first GPU. It was pretty good for the time (it ran BF1942 well, even if I have no idea what settings or anything I was on. I was like 12). Later upgraded to an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro.
