Best buy ate my laptop

I took my laptop to best buy and they sent it off to the place that fixes laptops. I called the place and they never got it they called best buy and the line was silent. What do i do? Should i go in an confront the customer service people? Its not anything small either or i would just get a new one.

Ugh before posting here you should have just gone into Best Buy and politely ask what is going on.

Did you get a ticket as proof that you gave the laptop to bestbuy to have it fixed, if you do go to the store and politely ask what the status is in the store.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Go to the store, ask what's going on.

If they deny that you gave the laptop to them, try and get some proof (reciept, etc.) that you gave it to them and then confront them.

This was on the news once, someone bought a best buy pc, and they went to go get it fixed as it wasn't working. He didn't get it back and my geuss is that they fixed it and sold it again. He didn't sue best buy, but they gave him a new one back.

 

NOT SAYING THIS HAPPENED, I HIGHLY DOUBT THEY WOULD PULL THIS AGAIN.

 

The company that fixes them probably just got caught up in orders and will probably get back to you on it.

Ok, I've come to the conclusion that tomorrow I will go to BB and see ask them what is going on. I spent 30 mins on hold today. I do have the receipt.

Pretty simple cut and dry case. You obviously need your receipt, any documentation or proof that you were informed your laptop is missing would help you tremendously. You can argue to get your money worth - store credit or possibly replace with a higher quality due to this mishap. Ultimately. make your case strong, try to be nice. If you need to blow up from frustration take it up with the management or leader on duty.
