Is this just a gaming machine or do you do other stuff on the PC and what's cooling the CPU?

Yours faithfully

Well what do you do? If this PC were for me, I would go for the i5 and get 16GB of RAM, but that is just because I like to use image manipulation software and have many Chrome tabs. If you would do a lot of video rendering, the i7 might be worth it, for gaming, I would say stick with the i5 and just like that there are some more scenarios which might have impact on which CPU you should choose.

i7 is not worth it over the i5 since most games can't use more than 2-4 threads.

Are you sure? If I was you, I'd hold off getting a new CPU until Kaby comes. Since you have a Pentium already, just update the Bios and snag yourself a 7th gen CPU rather than sticking to the 6th.

Wait, why did you make the title "do you think this would fit in my Honda" when it has nothing to do with your Honda or the size of it. Am I missing a joke or something?

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Since you said that you are using your PC for daily entertainment then i5 will be enough.

its a mighty car mods joke, its pretty fun if you know what it is

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
