Hey I do that.  Some of us like to give as much information as possible in case someone else can glean something useful from it.

I thought running the benchmark in Real Time and offscreen on a cold winters day was the god tier strat but apparently I'm wrong.

Like I said before -- in case someone else can find it useful.  It's meant as a courtesy to others and not to fulfill the rule requirements for score validation.  

 

 

And nobody said anything about having all that stuff open during the run itself.  That would be silly.  So don't be a prick.

Here's my score with 8700k (not delidded) and 32GB TridentZ RAM (dual rank). I do not run AVX at 4.9 though, only 4.7 to keep temperatures under control. Everything is stable at these settings.

I must be mistaken, when I went to download CPU-Z, that's the software I got.  Clearly, I can see now that it's CPUID, my mistake.  I'll redo.

I need to dial in an OC on the new 9900k (sig is a lie right now) but just ran a few runs to compare the 9900k stock "out of the box" (on an Asus board so it has 'multi core enhancement' enabled by default' VS my old 6900k @ 4.5 gHz OC...

 

6900k @ 4.5 gHz best CB score: 1909

9900k @ stock (Asus 'stock'):       2047

 

Kind of feeling like the old rig has no purpose anymore.

I really feel like timings are way more important in R15 because it will cost about 50points to run my 3600kit at 3600and cl17 vs running it 3200and cl15

They are more important cl15 is faster than cl17. Jumper said this in the very first post for this massive thread

Alright i got everything working and the gpu test was working as well and i really uped my score to 2318

btw the gpu was boosting to about 2.1GHz

I was wondering what your silicon score was in your uefi. Its weird because i tried overclocking mine to just 5ghz and i constantly get bluescreens. I have a z390 maximus xi code and an i9900k. Not sure why this happens ... also my silicon score was 98% and cooler rating 177

to be 100% honest that board is a 4 phase vrm set up.
