that is normal. why didnt you post your 4ghz score?

Because my 4GHz score was with 2133MHz ram.

I'm still having a few issues with memory.

For example, if I reset the CMOS for whatever reason and try to dial in 3200MHz, 9 times out of 10 I just get an F9 code boot loop (Gigabyte Gaming 5). I have to take one stick out, dial in my memory settings and then put the second stick back in and it works like a charm :P

I'll try to do a 4GHz run :)

Here you go :)

Btw @Jumper118, I saw a guy on the spreadsheet who managed to get past the 1800 points barrier with the same speed as me but with way worse timings on the RAM.

Any idea on how I can improve my score?

Easiest way would be to buy a 5960x.  xD

Jokes aside, primary timings aren't everything.  While I am not familiar with how AMD Ryzen memory overclocking or tweaking works, I can tell you that there is much more gained in secondary and tertiary timings then with primaries timings on Intel platforms.

Long way of saying that the other guy just tweaked the timings that you can't see in a CPUz screenshot.

what board do you have? how many times did you run cinebench? did you run with everything closed and the priority set to real time?

I have the Gaming 5 from Gigabyte.

I ran it until the score didn't improve.

I ran with everything closed (did not close processes), but didn't set the priority to real-time....completely forgot about that :P

I did manage a bit of an improvement, and was able to run 3200MHz CL14 but that didn't seem to make much of difference...

are you running b die? that is a bit better.

if you are running b die try running 14-13-13-13-28 on the memory timings. that should score better.

I haven't researched this memory chip thing at all, but I don't think this is b-die.

I have this kit: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/vengeance-led-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c16-memory-kit-white-led-cmu16gx4m2c3200c16

its going to be hynix or b die. if 14-13-13-13-28 posts and boots with a little more voltage on the memory then its b die if it doesnt post its probably hynix.

Well, I guess I don't have b-die....

The best they can do with 1.45v is 14-14-14-15-28.

If I change that last 15 to a 14 I get the 11 post code which with my board means "Pre memory CPU initialization has started".

well thats not too bad. its probably just a low bin and needs more voltage.

I just put the "50" in the multiplier box an left the voltage on auto. Heck that's all I've done to get 5Ghz. Anyone knows how to set up voltage curve for a p67 sabertooth board?
