This chip is very munchy  on the Ln2. :P used about 25l on it alone.

I'm not there yet. Still recovering from my board failure, might be both the bios are corrupt I don't know. The M2F is showing up Friday. I'm pretty sure my RAM will smoke that if I can get the 9770 rollin ;D

 

Give me a couple weeks.

Thoroughly impressed with it.  I expected it to struggle below 1.4 but has been handling it absolutely fine.  I was running the stock cooler for a while, and whilst I could run at 3.7 GHz with little issues at 1.36 volts, temps and the watts it was pulling was a little high.  The board is decent too, which I suppose goes towards some of it what with power phases but I'm happy with the results so far!

So when I installed my Ryzen I just let windows do its thing and never clean installed. I hadn't had any issues but read that I could have some underlying bottlenecks....

 

 

Cinebench went up from previous best 1717 4ghz 2933mhz ram to this at 3.95ghz and 3333mhz ram

It's Hynix, haven't really worked out the best timings for it yet, its only the last 2x bios I have been able to boot at 3200, albeit with looser timings and 1.5v on DDR.

yeah just lower them 1 at a time so try 18-20-20-40 then 18-18-20-40 then 18-18-18-40 then 18-18-18-38 :P just repeat that until it stops working

6800K at 4.3ghz on air. the 1357 score is also mine but since stuff was open and feeling lazy I didnt bother trying to replicate it.

I upgraded to a 1700 from my 3930K and so far i'm liking the platform, although my particular chip is horrible for OC :(

It requires acceptable voltages up to 3.8GHz but from there?

3.9GHz needs 1.38v to pass Cinebench and 4GHz is only passable with 1.48v :(
