Too lazy to run in safe mode, plus i think something with voltages was fucking me over.

@iHardware Shelden What's your voltages on your M5A97 R2.0 board?

My FX 6300 needed 1.4v for 4.5Ghz, for that 8 core I would expect a little more voltage might be needed, they can take 1.5v no problem as long as you can cool it properly :)

If only this notebook had an APU like that. Its current A8 4555M is the same single threaded as an i5 u470, and not much faster multithreaded. It is also rekt by the Phenom II N970 in my old laptop.

You act like I don't know this. Thats the kit I want.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232194&cm_re=TridentZ-_-20-232-194-_-Product

I didn't have the money to buy that specific kit. My budget was exactly $83.87.

It also doesn't mean I cant hit 3600MHz on CAS 16. Yes its virtually impossible, but that doesn't mean I cant be the luckiest person on earth.

Lucky, I had a choice between 2800MHz CAS 15 or 3000MHz CAS15. you obviously know which was the pick xD

A bit of fun with a E5-2670, 3195mhz (106.4x30) with all eight cores used. It turbos up to 3298-3511mhz when less cores are in use.

This 1600mhz gskill on my test bench doesn't like anything over ~2150mhz so I wasn't able to get it quite where I wanted.
