Just the way it is with the PS4K, its what should have been released in the first place. So it seems that if my Original Xbox ever dies I won't have to get a Pisspoor or Xbone.....but one of their replacements.

just to clarify this is just the normal xbox one thats been shrunk not the new more powerful one with the supposed 6Tflops its rumored to have

Hmmm, looks dope. Dbrand on that and it should be even cooler (Dbrand shouldnt be for phones... unless we want to melt the adhesive and glue strips inside our phones for crying out loud). Still not worth buying for me, because Halo Wars 2 is for Windows 10 and the only reason id ever buy an Xbox is for Halo :P .

We don't know the specs.. newer hardware could be more power efficient and allow a smaller cooler, and reduce power usage, which shrinks everything down, and be more powerful.

 

But this new console does not play 4K games. It says 4K video playback.. that mean it support 4K BluRay Movies, basically.

That is all. Expect the same from the PS4 NeoGeo, or whatever it will be called.

its already been rumored(not sure if microsoft has annouced there will be 2 so i'll just say rumor atm) that there will be a smaller version of the xbox one and a more powerful one, so i doubt that this will perform any better then the current xbox one

Looks pretty damn nice, time to find some cheap chinese company ripping off the design and selling the case only for people looking to refurb their Xbone S :D. Anybody would like an actually nice looking ITX case? :D

Looks pretty nice. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs compared to the current one. If its worth it i'll sell my current Xbox One and swap it for this one... would certainly free up some space on my desk if I had the vertical stand for it too.

It does not mention upgraded CPU/GPU in the picture so my guess is that it will be the same as before.

If that's the case then it will just be a smaller Xbone with a bigger HDD and upgraded HDMI. Not very exciting.

The Xbox One S is the same thing as the Xbox 360 S (slim) to the Xbox 360. There are no major hardware differences. 

 

The key things here are the internal power supply, 4K bluray/streaming support, and a few other things regarding the controller.

I'm more curious about the changes to the controller.  Does anyone know exactly what they are (if any)? (besides the obvious colour change)
