This. Game prices have nothing to do with a cheating policy. The game does have aesthetic microtransactions of a sort, so they probably valued the game at $40 for good volume sales, plus confidence that some reasonable percentage of the player base would drop $20+ on loot boxes.

 

As for the cheaters, good, I'm glad they're gone. Loving this game and it's been remarkably fair so far, I'd like it to stay that way. Cheaters will always appear when it can gain an advantage, so being harsh is the way to go.

Game is overhyped though, I find it boring.

On top of it, haves serious issues, some mouse smoothing problem no option for mouse, server tickrate is 20 (really? -.-) etc.

Blizzard was ready out of the gate to ban cheaters. It took Valve a fucking coincidence and a decent person to basically wipe out lmaobox hackers.

 

Good going on sucking ass, Valve. And while you're at it, make the Little Buddy all-class since you're making every other shitty hat all-class.

I always have had a hard time trying to stay afloat in terms of overall skill and not solely based on K/D. That's why I am critical of multiplayer FPS games. If everyone is supposed to have fun, at least base it on his/her performance and not the K/D. Like if they're not as aware and/or they can't hold a steady aim with their hands, they can at least have fun with others that are like that and maybe throw in one guy/girl that's a little past their performance so they can have a challenge too. And when they have improved, then they can get paired with the tougher players. 

 

That's what I would personally do with my FPS games so there's that minimal performance discrepancy.

now if only vac would be this good when it comes to banning players. i think i have become a bit paranoid when i play against good players in competitive matches, because i know how shitty the anti cheat system is and i don't trust it.

my question is how the hell they still ban hackers even if they purchase a new game. That questions me deeply. Like as if they implant something into the computer to essentially say " THIS GUY WAS  HACKER ! BAN HIM AGAIN! "

I really think Blizzard is kind of going too far with this anti-cheat stuff. Yes, I extremely hate cheaters too, but say for example, someone gets banned and their sibling or someone wants to play Overwatch on a separate system. The sibling gets banned because their IP/location was banned from the cheater (assuming that's about as far the anti-cheat goes).

That's the only scenario I can think of where it can be considered "too far". But otherwise, it's good to hear that Blizzard is taking care of all the cheaters for an amazing game.

registry leftovers, files left on hard drive (from both overwatch and the hack), sure you can format the hd...
static ip = format won't help you

I'm glad I never bought the game. I would have tried to get it to run in 21:9 and probably would have gotten banned for it.
