well i sure hope this topic gets edited to look like the other ones have if not it was a waste of a post. Anyways If it works it seems like it maybe a good setup but every time i have tried to use a track pad to game it was like running at a wall... not very fun.

Keep in mind, they aren't stopping support for other devices which is a good thing. It's not like a console in where you get the controller they design and that's it. I guess it's not so bad in retrospect but I guess we shall wait and see if it's any good. BTW I along with many other members of the forum predicted this as being the third announcement.

It's not about how it looks, but how it feels. I won't judge until I hold it in my hands. Personally dislike the way joysticks are handled in current console controllers (particularly the joystick click) and this may be a good solution if they perfect the touchpad.

yeah I just thought of that. It's not going to stop me from getting an Xbox controller for my single player games and using the mouse and keyboard for multiplayer. I am sure there is a market for this thing. I hope it's cheap because if it is cheap enough I might get one just for shits and giggles. Other than that, I have no use for one.

To me, valve failed a lot of people. & In my eyes, unless the 'details' on the hardware and software, as well as some information on HL3 LFD3 P3 & CSS2 they ACTUALLY might fail at this.

I mean think about it, the majority of pc gamers use a mouse, o they are trying to bridge the gap I suppose while trying to create something unique. It is ugly as fuck BUT knowing valve, it is going to work perfectly with Steam.
