How to become a mod?

Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

Follow the rules, report issues, be helpful to the best of your ability, and we may just consider you for being a moderator. We currently do not accept applications for becoming a moderator, so don't ask about that.

And as an FYI, post counts have nothing to do with becoming a moderator.

Don't ask to be one?

JK

If you are a user who knows the rules of this forum and stays faithful to them under any circumstances...and keep your cool towards other users (which i can't at times)....You should be able to become one..But you have to be very dedicated to it and not just be a moderator to abuse others....

Don't call me a nerd, it makes me look slightly smarter than you

I know that the current mods/admins on the forum occasionally look at the content made by users to see who would be good moderator material. I don't know exactly what they look for when considering this, but I imagine they want users who are helpful, respectful of the rules, and care about the forum. At least, that's what I've observed from who I've seen be appointed.

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

Also, if anyone has their mind corrupted by an anthropomorphic black latex bat, please let me know. I would like to join you.

When Saturn, Earth and Mars align and you are standing on your head in a stairway in Scandinavia, you have a 34,5% of becoming a mod. Only at that exact moment!

But in reality, you are chosen by being just an active and nice person.

So do you like apply?

Not that I've heard no, my understanding is that you're basically asked if you want to be a mod by an existing mod and if you're interested then the mod team talks it over and decides if you become a mod or not. FYI the best way to never become a mod ever is to suck up to the mods in an attempt to become a mod.
