I would buy a Wireless OnHub router from Google since my Dad and Mom have to live with the service provider's solution. I'm in college so it isn't much of a problem for me, but when I'm not home they don't have much fun working with it. Thank you for your consideration :).

I wanted to get my parents a tablet. i tried to learn them how to use a laptop but somehow they allways manage to ruin it so i thought a tablet would be easier for them :)

This is something plan and simple a Samsung 850 EVO drive 500 gigs

 

Dad still has 2 80GB hard drives one salvaged from a Pentium 2 computer and one, I've got no clue...

I would say that mom needs one of these too but she's got a new iMac, not willing to disassemble the bloody thing.

I would gift my father with a Asus F205TA-FD0063TS.

He simply doesn't own any kind of Computer and has my mom do all of his online stuff...

She's constantly complaining about his technophobia

so I think it would be high time for him to enjoy a little crash course. :D

Would love to get a new family tablet as our old tablet we got from our internet service provider is going past its "use by date" with only 256mb of ram and a 500mb sd card... It's struggling to even open emails now...

Also, this tablet acts as my dads home phone (he doesn't have a phone) and would serve him well down the road.

To my little brother who always complains about the Xbox one controller sucking, an Xbox one elite controller would be pretty cool to get him,  and it would also be nice to not hear him whine about it anymore :) .

I think my dad would really benefit from having an ultrawide because he does office work at home. He is still using some old-ass 4:3 TFT display that just HURTS to look at. I already have one and i've had him try it but he says the old one "works" and should not be replaced.... I would love to surprice him!

My dad always goes out and buys movies from places like target and walmart. And everytime he comes home with a new rather costly movie I say, noooooo dad this one is on Netflix. Or if we didn't have it I would say this one is on Amazon prime for 4.99. Also he is constantly loosing the remotes and we had to attach a tile to the back of it(he always asks me to make the remote do the noise) so I think the Roku 4 would be perfect for watching movies and would eliminate the issue of constantly loosing the remote to the couch. And considering he doesn't watch tv it would be very easy for him to hit the on button and watch Netflix or whatever he wants. they have an old jvc system that no longer reads cds (cd tray broke) so it works only for am/fm radio an casettes :(

Also only one speaker works.

 

In my country (Argentina) is impossible to buy that stuff (because of pricing and availability)

The reason i want to get my dad these is because while he is not very technically inclined, he loves playing older first person shooters like medal of honor and the first couple of call of duty. Our house, and the room he plays in, is wired for surround sound and i set it up so that he could play these games whilst having an immersive experience, however, the noise makes my mom extremely angry. So, id like to get him a quality headset so he can still have the incredibly immersive experience and my mother can be happy as well. Now the reason i picked the gaming headset is because my father has to do calls over the computer all the time for his work and he has been using turtle beaches as a headset. While turtle beaches are good for their cost, they hurt your head after a couple of hours of usage, so they arent practical for a day of work online.

I actually hope that I can buy one apple ipod touch but as you guys know in Malaysia everything are mean to EXPENSIVE even though we buy our own country produced cars, petrol, gas, rice, etc. There are linked to expensive.So i saved up a lot of money but I still can't buy an ipod touch.In Malaysia Apple are only used by all those wealthy people only but not for those people who can speak well English.So I hope that someone can help me to buy ONE apple ipod touch for me and my cousins.Below is the link.Pity us.....
