Posted November 30, 2015 So I was on the dark part of YouTube today and came across a video discussing this article found here: http://adequacy.org/public/stories/2001.12.2.42056.2147.html So if you have looked at it you might be able to see it is from over 10 years ago but it still makes me question; "What do our parents think we are doing?" Kind of a stupid topic but after seeing this article (which I assume is a joke of some sorts) you can't help but wonder what do you think your parents think you are doing since you like working with "computers"? Posted November 30, 2015 If your son has requested a new "processor" from a company called "AMD", this is genuine cause for alarm. AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips. They use child labor extensively in their third world sweatshops, and they deliberately disable the security features that American processor makers, such as Intel, use to prevent hacking. AMD chips are never sold in stores, and you will most likely be told that you have to order them from internet sites. Do not buy this chip! This is one request that you must refuse your son, if you are to have any hope of raising him well. I cant stop laughing, tears are flowing. Kind of a stupid topic but after seeing this article (which I assume is a joke of some sorts) you can't help but wonder what do you think your parents think you are doing since you like working with "computers"? Many people who think they are hackers, are NOT. Often they are just script kiddies. I laughed so hard the other day when in an episode of this new CSI series, CSI:Cyber, one of the "hackers" quoted Neuromancer as being every hacker's bible. Sure Neuromancer is one of the most popular cyberpunk genre novels, and is popular in the "tech" community, but every hacker's Bible it ain't. Even the 1995 movie Hackers got more things right than this lame show. I am a hacker, and this is my manifesto. You may stop this individual, but you can't stop us all... after all, we're all alike.
