Is this the one that LG made?

Sorry, I don't follow Nexus phones.

Nevermind, Huaqei made the 6P.

Guess, they didn't learn my Apple's mistake.

Using an metal body with not enough reinforcement.

Because some twat snapping his phone in half means the phone is a joke... hell the iPhone 6 is meant to be bendable, yet everyone I know, and everyone in my family who has one, is perfectly fine - its unlikely to effect NORMAL use

That said, it does look weak, I wish it was stronger - these are the corners companies cut to make money on devices

Erm did you even read? it literally says the manufacturer is Huawei in the first line of the post

Don't know if the bend test was necessary with that amount of force. But the scratch test was interesting.

Huawei phones are built like fucking tanks. This is most definitely Google skimping on the design.

Huawei themselves wouldn't cut shit, Google engineers designed this.

They still built it, they could have put up some opposition so not to tarnish their name

probably yea, but still not entirely their fault.

sure shared responsibility, now while I think bend tests are a little silly, after the whole iphone fiasco, you would think manufactures would be prudent not to repeat mistakes

its lazy, its cost cutting and its not good for consumers or the brand image

It's not even the bend that is concerning, it's the fact that it cracked when he touched it after a few scratches.

While true most of the time, he bent that thing like it was a 1 subject paper notebook. Even ignoring the weak glass and back, the phone is not built well.

Neither did mine but there were still lots of cases of it happening. And everyone is like "no that won't happen to mine"

And if it does they still replace it for you.

I can confirm, I dropped my Nexus about twice a day for 2 years, still works. (I'm the clumsiest person you'll ever see with a phone.)
