Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Stream Reveals Firebreak Specialist, Redwood Map

Gamers get a close look at the power of the new character
Video game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision are entering the final stretch of development for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and they are aiming to show fans of the series a range of new elements that are part of the coming first-person shooter.

A new live stream gives gamers a look at the ninth Specialist that gamers will be able to use, called Firebreak, including his unique weapon and the character power that he will be able to deploy in order to take out enemies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer will also include the Redwood multiplayer map, which is designed to once again encourage players to use their new movement powers in order to surprise enemies and gain a significant advantage during combat.

More reveals linked to the shooter will be delivered every Friday from now until launch.

The Specialists are one of the new features that Treyarch is introducing to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, well-rounded characters with unique combat profiles, offering enough variety that each player can decide on the favorite that he wants to use on the long-term.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has also received post-beta tweaks
David Vonderhaar, the design director working on the shooter, has explained that a wide range of changes are being made to the game based on the data gathered and the feedback offered by the players during the beta period.

Rejack counts as a kill, and there are more tweaks to the weapons that will be part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The title will also feature a single-player campaign that will take place in 2065 and will focus on the way humanity is affected by tech advantages that turn soldiers into weapons.

Treyarch is also offering a Shadows of Evil cooperative campaign that will take fans to the 1940s, giving them a chance to take out a wide variety of zombies using a cast of unique characters.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 and gamers can also get older console versions of the shooter although they will not feature the single-player campaign because of technical limitations.

Definitely not me. CoD is a POS game series nowadays. copy/pasta bullshit every 8 months to rake in the fanboys and turn them a moderate profit.

Then again, i guess its more profitable than actually making a good game every 24 months and only bringing in double the money...

You keep beating that horse activision, beat it until it dies, then continue to beat that dead horse until there is nothing left. And then once there's nothing left, you fucking build a new god damned horse, and beat the shit out of that one.

EA doesn't publish CoD. Has nothing to do with it.

Activision is what you're talking about, right? Though EA does a lot of terrible annual releases as well.

clearly it's not a pos game, else it wouldn't be able to make the money it does.

Black Ops 2 runs butter smooth. AW also runs butter smooth. Also, don't talk about your opinions in an objective way.

Good doesn't always mean profitable, and profitable doesn't always mean good.

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

Kinda excited for this and kinda not at the same time. Ive been a long time fan of the COD games for the multiplayer since its fast paced and quite frankly, they know how to make it fun but that being said, it does get bland quickly now that Ive been buying a copy of the game every year since MW2 and my friends dont play it anymore. I witnessed it first hand last year, I bought a copy of AW and I played it for like 2 weeks then let it collect dust while I went back to the games that "never get boring" like CS and all that.

So it is a bad game? No, theyre all fun for a certain amount of time.

Do I think there needs to be some sort of new twist? Yeh, but a correct implimentation of Zombies could be what the game needs. I havent had fun with Zombies since BO1 where all of the DLC's were actually fun as all fuck and it was an experience that no other game could offer.
