Just found out the other day that I am going to be a first time Daddy.  I'm so excited and cant wait for this next 8 months or so to go by!

Congrats.

Start doing your homework...the first three years of your child's life are extremely important.

So much going on and if I have one piece of advice from you, it is to ask for help when you need it.

Being a first time parent can be overwhelming at times and when you are tired and stressed out it will reflect in the way you speak to and treat your child.

It is ok to a day off to unwind and clear your mind while a friend or family member takes care of your child. You will need it.

Be patient, kind, and understanding....the rest will come naturally.
