Costco Accidentally Reveals Verizon Exclusive Motorola Droid "Turbo 2"

Well, it appears that Costco has accidentally revealed that it will be selling the Verizon-exclusive "Droid Turbo 2" later this year....

Even before Motorola actually announce the phone to the general public.

 

Not much to say other than let's hope that the "Turbo 2" will improve on the flaws of its predecessor instead of taking a step backwards entirely.

Its no joke, I've been using my Droid 4 for a long time and its on its last leg :(. I got happy when I saw the rumors for the Droid 5, but that was years ago and I've lost hope :(

I know how you feel, 3 years ago i managed to get an LG C550, the very last slider with android sold in belgium, supplies were very limited, but me and my gf bought one, after 2 years it was getting clear it couldn't stay with us forever, so i bought 2 LG C800's from america and they are still in great shape a year later. I'm actually going to order a 3rd one tomorrow for a family member. It's for me the only way to get one of the last decent slider phones probably in the world in my hands. I'm happy with it, but i'm also really scared, it's a lovely thing but i'm afraid the C800 will be the very last slider i will own... I have really no idea what to get next if it dies...

Well I might get this, was going to get Turbo with Kitkat because Lollipop is fucking awful, I might wait and see the Turbo 2 demo and see if it starts on Kitkat of has a skin that makes Lollipop not shit.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

I've unfortunately have had a hell of a time with my Turbo so far, purchased in april and on the 5th replacement so far and still having the exact same issues. Poor sound quality, static and crackling no matter what is done with it or how good the signal strength is. Verizon techs say its a network issue, network techs all claim it has to be the phones since signal is great and lines in my area are clear. What's obvious is the fact they expect me to continue paying them for both crappy service and barely functional phone though.

At least based on the information in the Costco leak, it looks like the "Turbo 2" will be a Verizon exclusive once again... :(

 

The only thing we can hope for is that there will be a successor to the  original Turbo's unlocked GSM twin, the XT1225 (Turbo was XT1250), except that it'll be available in more countries than just Mexico and Brazil...
