It looks cool as hell!

The Turing Phone is Retrofuturistic Smartphone Ripped Straight From a Sci-Fi Movie

An odd smartphone with an even odder design!

I would love to have one myself!

It definitely looks cool, but the lack of headphone jack and proprietary charging cable ruins it for me. The specs are kind of meh as well.

edit: Wow the cable doesn't support data either so you need to use proprietary wifi data transfer to the phone. This phone seems more like a fashion statement than a functional phone. This might not be a big deal to some people but it's crippling to me.

50:50 on this

no headphone jack? proprietary charger? meh specs? .

I am divided on the looks, the sharp edges and lines look stylish and sophisticated but the back looks like something a 10 year old gamer would draw

I think they got carried away when designing this phone and forgot it's 2015 and a phone with hardware features like that (or lack thereof) isn't very practical.

P.S. what's up with the destiny logo?

Ehhhh. I mean it looks nice, but still. Proprietary cables are just stupid. Though at least these ones look nice. But no data transfer over the cable? Bullshit.

Interestingly enough though, it will have dual SIM. So it might be on my short list for phones. However we'll see what the price and battery life is like.

It saddens me that it uses such an old SoC.

Also, am I wrong or is this the first product Turing Robotics will be putting out?

Worries me a little.

I also hate the layout they have for the power and volume buttons. Hope they have tap to wake, or perhaps touching the fingerprint reader...

looks like a phone that iron man would have in his pocket... wiht that said i kinda want one not really to use as a daily phone but i want the 128gig version for a nice media device since it does have a large screen and lots of storage good for music and videos... hopefuly it will work with tmobile so i can get a data plan for streaming music.

I wonder if anyone has noticed the applications in security this device might have. Propriety cable, no data transfer over cable, if you lose your phone it looks like your information is relatively safe.

I wouldn't say it's the phone for everybody but it's neat.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

It looks like a piece of Iron Man fell off and someone decided to sell it as a phone.

So Iron Man 3 was an ad for the Turing phone .

You will need bluetooth headphones since this phone doesn't even have a 3.5" jack. Total deal breaker for me.

Every time I open YT app on my phone there is this Turing phone video, it's been there for a week and it annoys me :P

I don't really like the "cut" under the camera.

good thing i dont use headphones with my phone i only use my phone right now to listen to music through my bluetooth enabled car radio... thats it so this is perfect... plus i have some bluetooth to 3.5mm jack converters for making normal headphones into bluetooth headphones... they work alright :/

I really like the angles and material choices on the outside. Looks very sleek.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I use bluetooth in the car too but for everything else I use wired headphones because I haven found a good bluetooth pair that are as good as my Momentums. Maybe I'll look into those converters, do inline remotes still work with them?

It's pretty alright, but not charging through the industry standard USB is a major inconvenience and omitting a 3.5mm jack is outright retarded.

if you want quality then the converters probaly wont be very good and they only receive audio so controlls dont work.... i dont use mine very much cuase they kinda suck but good if you just need somehting wireless and dont care if its the best quality... although i it might just be that they are to low power to drive anything and might need a small amp in there...
