i'm not talking about the companies, but the consumers.

i'm talking about high-end cards like the EVGA kingpin. Not sure why you're talking about quadros when it has nothing to do with the topic.

They are generally for people who overclock a fuck ton and put them under water, phase change. LN2 etc

I'm actually rather interested to find out if Asus will adapt their new Auto-Extreme manufacturing technology toward their motherboard line.  That would be rather interesting.  Can't wait to see the 980ti Matrix and 20th Annie performance.  If they beat the Kingpin across the board--then it's Asus, but god.. the copper of that Kingpin.

Ugh, what is with ASUS and putting two different fans on GPUs? it looks off-putting, to me at least...

Anyone buying a matrix shouldn't be using the stock cooler for anything other than checking to make sure it works lol

They don't even clock very well on air from what I've seen they really need chilled water or better to shine.

Makes my one inch wonder look bigger.

Lets hope the 20th anniversary card actually arrives.

Meanwhile, the Strix card is a totally different design, using three fans instead of two.

Yeah, but have you seen reviews? ( this shit can get up to 85°c on test bench )It looks like they slapped cooler from R9 fury on to 980 ti.

Go take a look at the 780 DCU II fam

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Lol ok then. Not sure what your opinion is based on but it is definitely not fact.

I agree, it's well known EVGA is one of the best GPU brands. Their products may be a little bit lacklustre at times, but the cards always looks clean, perform well.

Not to mention their customer service destroys ASUS'.

This being said, I have an ASUS card.

That is probably an AMD heat issue not an ASUS problem.

Yeah. My asus strix 970 runs without fans until 70 degrees. and in the games I play it never gets above 70 degrees.
