I don't give a shit.

edit: It didn't broke yet and i "accidently" spilled water on it. It just refused to start... after i let it dry it started working again so its a damn good Power Supply and will last more than 100,000 hours

11.4 years and it will finally break! <3 (RUNNING 24/7)

The edge is good, but it is expensive for what it is.

I would recommend you get:

  • Antec High Current Gamer modular
  • EVGA B2,
  • EVGA GQ,
  • EVGA G2,
  • XFX XTR,
  • XFX TS Gold,
  • Coolermaster Vanguard,
  • Seasonic S12G or
  • Corsair RMx

Instead

It's an excellent power supply.

Yes, it's a fantastic power supply. However, it's very rare to have a PC that requires 1000W. What are your specs?

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

PCPP overestimates by a lot. All calculators online are garbage.

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_geforce_gtx_1080_g1_gaming_review,8.html

Guru3D's testing found that without an overclock (and 1080s have limited voltage adjustment iirc) the GPU used 192W under load. Multiple that by, say, 2.5 for overclocked GPUs together = 480W + the 6850K (add about 120W) and you're well under the 750W recommendation I'm giving you. Guru3D also recommends a 750W PSU for two in SLI.

See edit,  but since they have 5+yr warranty it will outlive the initial build probably.
