Hey guys, is there a way to reduce the amount of "this isn't a fingerprint" when my phone is in my pocket on a warm day? It doesn't seem to matter if the screen is against me or facing away, it repeatedly does "incorrect fingerprint" when in my pocket on a warm day.

Increase Touch sensitivity is set to "OFF"

Accidental touch protection is ON.

Phone is S22+

try turning off accidental touch protection, depends on your clothing really, samsungs suck these past 3 years sadly with both charging and screens. also what screen protector are you using? if any? try using a different one, can help too

No screen protector.

Is there a particular reason turning off touch protection would help?

I agree with everyone else. A screen protector can definitely reduce the sensitivity!

yea... Samsung software is buggy as hell.

also get a screen protector, they're designed to have one so if they don't they get confused lol (Samsung stuff, eh)

gotta say one of my first phones was a Samsung slider... one of the best phones I owned, but that was pre android... they never were good with android phones... just good with marketing.

It appears to be working, I've only had two false readings so far.

The ultrasonic reader works pretty well, but I genuinely miss the side and back readers from my Motorola phones. That G7+ was a fantastic phone, if they just made that phone again with modern hardware, I would buy it again.
