Looking for build advice for my father

Hello guys,

Im looking to build a computer for my father, he have a 1000e budget and we are located in Belgium, he play mostly WoW but he like to use some Adobe software to edit his personnal pictures. He is kinda old school in term of component, he believes that intel is a must as a cpu and nvidia as a gpu. He play in 1080p but want update his screen top 1440p in 120hz both. He doesnt care about the look of the case so no need to have some RGB or other the case will not be visible anyway. We have both knowledge to build a pc but he would prefer to be prebuild but I didnt find anything very good as price/quality ratio. If you know any sellers with these condition please let me know.

After some research for some parts I did this configuration :

https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/CnCGFs

Let me know how i can update it or if you have any other suggestion I'm open to anything, I'm not very sure about the cooling side I feel like it can be very hot with this CPU.

yeah, cuz AMD can be more efficient, even though you might get less cores in the end,

ryzen is pretty strong for gaming, and could even go for productivity, the Intel's only advantage price to price is core count and even then you're sometimes just saving seconds if your workload doesn't demand powerful CPU with many cores.

3060 just is a slow gpu for new builds. 4070 or 7800xt are about 100% faster. The budget is in bit of a tough spot because you have to really compromise either the cpu or gpu. 12400f is ok but spending that 100€ more towards ryzen 7600 would mean a faster cpu and an easy upgrade path too.

Still would push for this one, 100 Eur more, but you get almost 2x fps in any game. Okey if you don't want to go with amd you still need to choose 4070 as the gpu, or buy used GPU.

Yes it will run games better. Its a bit hard to see a gap between cpu:s if your gpu is a 3060. Heck, the gap with a 3080 1440p is under 5% in techpowerup review. So the faster gpu will give almost a +100% in performance.

but you're saying that 12400F is better than 7600, that's just wrong.
