8.1 In everything! 4770K, GTX 770, Samsung 840 Pro, 16GB Vengeance Pro! I wonder what it takes to get a 9.9. I heard that microsoft killed off the index in 8.1.

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Running Windows 7.

7.7 CPU and RAM

7.9 Anything else.

I wonder what you need for a 7.9 in CPUs, more cores perhaps?

Probably dual xeons.

I think it just takes what Windows regards as a 'true' 8-core. So a 3930k doesn't cut it even though it way outperforms an 8350 and that manages to scrape a 7.9 I think.

CPU: 7.0

GPU: 6.6 (gaming)

RAM: 5.9

HDD: 5.9

Lowest is performance for Windows Aero with a score at 5.1. I think it uses Intel HD Graphics to measure that one(?), which I think would make sense.

It was to show the invalidity of the WEI. Drivers can skip test results as you don't see anything, get super high performance, fooling the benchmark software, and get a higher score. That is why on Intel GPUs, the Gaming performance is higher than desktop performance... how does that make sense? Well... there you go.

In fact, all benchmark software are very valid... drivers can force drop polygon count, not draw stuff that is not visible and so on.

That is why what really maters is gaming performance.

lol at Windows capping at 5.9 for HDDs, even if relatively fast in RAID0.

Sad thing is i've had an SSD sitting on my desk for almost a month, too lazy to install it -_-

I really wonder what kind of specs you need to hit the 9.9's. Has it been done or is the rating inconsistent?
