Let's put it this way, you're not going to find a 220 dollar motherboard in a pre-built :)

Windows Experience Index is a worthless way to determine your PC's performance.

What makes it particularly worthless is the way that your computer gets "better" when you install Windows 8 and the rating cap increases from 7.9 to 9.9.

it only goes higher to have a higher number people can aim for your score would be the same on both os's

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?
