it only goes higher to have a higher number people can aim for your score would be the same on both os's

Or the hardware "rating" is capped (or bottlenecked) by the rating system. Which is what it probably is when you have components at 7.9/7.9

7.9/7.9 in everything but my cpu, which is 7.8 which makes no sense considering it's OC'd to 4.5ghz lol

I would have thought it would be higher than that, my Intel HD 2000 scored 6.0 on gaming graphics, that's weird.

Here is my laptop, not the best scores in the world but I don't think it's bad considering it's almost 4 years old.

Cool though I thought one of those would have scored higher.

Luckily the WEI tells nothing about your hardware, my GPU is a 7870, which is not even the highest performance card, but it still got a 7.9 for some reason.
