Why is there no backplate? On a card that is going to probably be over $1k, I'd expect a damn backplate.

Nvidia are really good at making pretty looking designs. Better than what Apple does to it's phones. The aesthetic I mean and the overall design nature, if that makes any sense.

Not a fan of the textured look... it looks like my outdoor grill. Needs a backplate and RGB lighting on the logo.

Looks like the paint on my power supply. If it's the same finish, it won't scratch no matter what, that shit is tough as old boots.

Edit: I have the Rev 3 version, but the casing has the same paint, just better braided cables and internals.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

Am I the only one that's not a huge fan of the grainy texture of that black paint? Also no backplate :(.

I've just told myself that the grainy texture isn't that nice.
