Dram or no dram

I'm looking to buy my first ever m.2 drive to store a lot of large games on and I would like to know if people think that a DRAM version or a DRAM less version is better. I keep getting mixed messages when I try to look it up.

Budget? What size do you need? 

 

Typically dramless drives are fine for games and running windows off.

 

A lot more than dram matters on a drive, look up reviews for the specific drive your looking at.

If you want to put an OS on it its better to have dram for more stability even tho both will suffice. If you just want extra storage whatever will do. Do look at reviews tho as no matter what a drive has its useless if it burns itself in like 2 weeks

Doesn't matter at all.   Buy the cheapest largest.

or this, even the cheapest M.2s can level the read speed of traditional HDD or 2.5" SATA SSD
