I'm currently going on the PS store to see if I can preload. Did some research and It's only gonna be 4gb! If I can't preload then I'll just start the download before I go to school. :)

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.

Well it was 10GB on PC and usually PC is much larger for Battlefield games. Also, I love that spock button gif.

Thank you! :D

Yea I think it's gonna look like crap but It's the mechanics that I'm gonna be paying attention to.

Also no preload option. Ah well.

Okay So I played the beta for awhile. Super fast paced (heist)

Doesn't feel anything like bf4 and I'm quite happy with the game overall.

BFH > BC2 > BF3 >BF4

Same pretty much applies http://forum.symthic.com/battlefield-4-general-discussion/5688-graphics-settings-and-how-they-affect-fps/

Running at 4k 80% resolution scale (so 80% of 4k)

Texture Quality - Ultra

Texture Filtering - Ultra

Lighting - Low

Effects - Low

Post Process - Low

Mesh - Ultra

Terrain - Medium

Terrain Decoration - low

AA Def - off

AA Post - Medium

Ambient Occlusion - Off

Not going below 45 fps, generally around 55 with an R9 270 + 3570k. These settings look MUCH better than 1080p ultra/1440p medium at about the same framerate.

I can max it out at 1440p DSR and maintain 120-144fps no problem with my rig (not surprising, 3930k and dual 980's) but the game is just so boring to me, I don't know what it's missing but I just can't seem to enjoy it.

Love it so far way better than the first Beta gameplay seems solid.
Performance is fine but I'm getting some crashes which is to be expected.
What really surprised me is that they added real time reflections and the textures are also much better than in Bf4.

Runs spotless on my rig. I have played only the heist mode so far and that's pretty fun. But what kinda annoys me that you don't really have any gun fights. Everything is a one shot kill. Nevertheless if the upcomming maps are good this could be a pretty cool game.

Now that frustrating things like UCAVs, Mortars, camping bipod LMG (Linus Media Groups),  RPG (as primary) are gone, i think the game will be so much better. System Reqs are higher, so i assume that graphics will be better. From what i've seen in videos so far, climbing over terrain isn't messed up like BF4 (but i've still got a large backlog of BFH beta videos to watch).

As for netcode... i guess we'll have an idea via the beta, which i'm currently downloading.

I'm just waiting for all the people who hated on BFH to eat their words. Although they did have a point, it WAS a lot like BF4. But after seeing what it is now, can anyone really hate?

Try my settings on the second page of this thread (excluding the res scaling), you should get about the same/more fps and the game looks a lot better imo.

Seems more like BF4. Maybe just me.

I really liked the small map and more action paced beta.

Opinion will probably change though. First impressions.
