I don't look at the fps I play with, I stick the game on max and play for a bit and if it's playable I continue. If it's not then I drop the settings and try again.

It depends on the game, Minecraft=above 200, Battlefield 3=around constant 50-70, FC3 Blood Dragon=anything greater than 35 :P

Its  a top of the range toaster which can easily reach 120 tps (toast per second) in most games.

60fps no less, if the game can't do constant 60fps I don't play it, until i have the hardware to do so.......I have high standards when it comes to fps and frame timings, if its not butter smooth and ultra responsive, I put it to one side and play something else.

I preffer 60 fps or more ofcourse,

but don't mind playing at 40 fps

unless it's a shooter like cod, then you need 60+fps to make it playable

Depends, for example in things like bf3 (somewhat a twitch fps) i prefer over 50 fps and i notice choppiness under that (i have a 120hz monitor), but in games like dayz/ planetside 2 that don't require that twitch reaction i'm fine with as low as 30

It depends a lot when it comes to the games. The more the better ofc.

But 60+ is good enough. And 120+ if i play cs, or similiar games so i can use my 120hz screen for that.

40-60. I'll take as low as 30 if the game is really demanding. Most of my games run at above 60 anyway.

Well over 60fps if I am playing multiplayer. Up around 100 fps is preferable.

Average 50. If it's any lower, sudden fps drops are more annoying. Like for some reason my bf3 has dropped average from 55 to 40 and since it has so much gfx going all the time, drops take it down to 10. Perfect would be stable 125. Any higher is just for show-offs...

I upgrade when I can't maintain at least 60fps in the games I am currently playing, I like to game at 60, and 120 is a treat.

40+, there's only a small handful of games that I can't notice running at 30-ish FPS on average.
