For me it is quite the opposite. With crazy amount of terribly low quality textures and some of the worst LOD handling I have ever seen, with foliage literally growing in front of you as you move and texture pop-in everywhere, this is some of the worst looking full budget AAA games ever released. Content is also basic copy-paste and factory produced, with some rare exceptions of good sequences. There are some great moments and the general concept for the game is epic but there just isn't a single aspect of the game that would be well executed, everything feels like it was made on a knee few minutes before launch, which is exactly what quantity over quality approach does. If I was to make a list of the best concepts with the worst execution, this would probably top the list. It just pains to think how great this game could have been.

I wasn't really sharing the common concern about the entire AC franchise after the turn it made with Origins, it was mostly good and the setting was pure magic, but seeing Odyssey and especially the positive reception it got despite low quality, I am greatly worried now. AC games were always an important part of my loop of games and now I am this close to ditching it, I have no capacity for another Odyssey-like game at all. Hopefully long break between releases means another major reshuffle of series formula with the next game.

Destiny 2. That's the Traveler when captured by the Cabal Red Legion, and the second shot is the Shard of the Traveler in the European Dead Zone. Both in missions from the Red War campaign.

It's more of a simulator than a game, but I guess it still counts. I've been doing a lot more custom repaints for the Omsi simulator lately, and I'm pretty chuffed with how this screenshot turned out.

It's one of the few 7th generation games to run at 1080p! Then again, it had better be, considering that this is a game from 1993.

Just did an epic multiplayer fight vs Banbaro in Elder's Recess map, and got awesome post hunting 'Dizzy Pro' award for the first time after HR 106 / MR 11.

Impact Echo Wave type of Hunting Horn is awesome for monster's head, dizzyness intensifies..

Clutch claw => slinger burst to the head => monster hit the wall and down => superpound+echo attack the head 2-3x => impact echo wave to the head => monster down extended by KO => superpound+echo attack the head 2-3x => mounting => monster down => superpound+echo attack the head 2-3x => impact echo wave to the head => monster down extended by KO => superpound+echo attack the head 2-3x => REPEAT!

<This steps only applies in solo runs>

This nasty creature, I mean NASTY, is a PITA to face. I failed this quest in multiplayers 2x, then I tried to face it solo and it made me fainted 2x before I can kill it after 40 minutes fight. WTH!

 

"Blackveil Vaal Hazak", It's like it has COVID-19 spores on all over its body and booooi that spores are no joke.

 

I got 10 minutes remaining warning and that put an additional pressure to the fight while I cannot be as aggressive as I used to fight other monsters. I was very conservative on it except if I'm a gunner but I'm not, and I have to use environment to add some advantages but still, 40 minutes fight was way to long. I prefer to solo fight Teostra or Daora than this nasty shit.

 

This is by far my most hated monster in the game, the spores are so annoyingly sneaky taking your health away before you realize that you are dying.
