It sounds bad but if the end result is a game that doesn't have some huge game breaking problem then it's worth it. It's better to get this stuff fixed before it goes out on shelves... and severs.

That being said they could have delayed it to fix these problems as well I guess.

I don't see how this can in any way be interpreted as something negative, they're making sure the game works on launch. Thumbs up Ubisoft, you get a spoonful of earth back to fill your hole.

LOL I wouldn't go that far i would say that someone gave the diggers a bottle of water for all there hard work and told them to take 15 ...

Probably some problems that were listed from reviewers with early copies. Nice to see them fast on the fix.

I don't see whats the big deal about this...  unless you're one of those crazy people that buy the game on a cd, who cares?  you're gonna have to download it anyway...  I'd rather have a day 1 patch than no patch and it run like crap...

edit:

just saw post 7, kinda take back what I said.  although I imagine without the patch it'd be even worse...

the worst part about this is it looks like AA is either off or on a low setting from the screen shots, which is typically the biggest FPS hog on games...

alot of pcgames  get patched day 1 :(

Since the game is not out yet, this is technically a day 0 patch.

Well at least it not like battlefield where it took forever to get a good patch (then again it was only on console who have the problem).

If it runs better on day one, I don't care. Hell, I can't even preload the game. I got it through the Nvidia promotion so it's through Uplay.
