My school is putting metal plates into the walls

My university did that too... although I'm pretty sure they were trying to shield the super computer and the chip fabrication plant from interference. Makes it horrific to try to text anyone in or near those buildings.

 

 

Oh if I was a parent, I would so sue the school system for this, its a safety hazard, they are effectively cutting you off from your children via cell phone contact, which could be argued to be an endangerment.

So two weeks ago they put metal plates in between the walls in the locker rooms to prevent cyber bullying. As you can guess, cell signals can't go through metal. No one did that anyways, but my school is retarded so. So now they had the genius idea of putting metal plates into the walls of the classrooms! Gah what is with some people. Just trying to use my phone ahh.

cant they just have a certificate that doesn't allow vpn's through there firewall and lock via mac adresses

Oh I used it all the time when I was in school and they tried to take my phone, I told them that my parents told me to tell them "I have a cell phone so they can be in contact with me at any time for any reason, and that if someone tries to take my phone they will sue them" lol, they always just stopped talking and walked away.

Don't even get me started! There's another thread I have yet to reply to, but the kid actually said that without video games there's nothing to do.

He couldn't think of a single thing to occupy his time, than the computer or TV. It's turning into a sad, sad world.

When I was a kid we played N64 together. But we generally spent 7 - 8 hours doing something outside and played that to wind down.

its not necessarily a cellphone jammer, its what the students in my school call it. but it is something that puts my signal down to a 1 bar of edge network. which is only good for calling. idk what kind of device it is but there are about 3-5 per hallways.
