Why do we censor music?

This is a serious question. I really can't understand why we censor music? If it has 18+ rating on it why censor it? I mean we all know what they are saying anyways...

Well why doesn't all the streaming services have a cencered or uncensored verison....like spotify has most songs uncensored and some are...really makes it a pain.

Some censorship gets really weird, I remember a couple years back, my work car only had AM/FM so I was stuck with radio.

Very sad. I went to a christian school for about 2 semesters in like, 4th grade. My mom forced my dad to pull me out because they were so far behind public schools it wasn't funny
