LTT 3DMark Thread

That´s the board that Vlad goes with now ;). I think he just has to wait until he receives it.

For me the only 2 boards I´d buy for X99 OCing machines is the AS Rock OC Formula or the Gigabyte SoC Champion. All those so called OCing mainboards are just heavily feature overloaded and unstable.

I'm all about them XPower Boards.

Your CPU might hold you back a bit, pretty weak score for GTX980 2way SLI.

EDITED and UPDATED 3/25/2015.

Is there any overclock with my CPU that will help or am i looking at a upgrade?

You really need to OC that system ;). There's a lot more potential in those scores.

Champion came in a few days ago but I've been so busy with my newborn I haven't had a chance to install.

Titan X's are here and gone. Sold to a few friends who were desperate to put them under DICE. Decided a little profit was more important to me. Going to wait for some Lightning 390X's and Classified 980 Ti's.

Well I doubt that I can beat your 4way score with 2 Titan Xs but I will hopefully be able to crack my onw 3way scores. If I manage to do that I´m cool with it.

And in the meantime I enjoy this sexyness ;).

Because I am a super enthusiast that looks for the best available experience and not just for epeen. Besides that the side grade is not true. This is a true upgrade and a very hard one too. Going from 4K lala sclaing with leaf blower setup to a perfect 4K experience fully custom watercooled, silent and beastly looks... this is a huge upgrade. Those Titan Xs hold 4K better min FPS than 3 GRX980s did.

EDIT: Benchmark scores are awesome no doubt about it, and I could have easily bought three or four cards... but what´s the point of it? Just ask Vlad... if he is honest he will tell you that his 4way scales like crap... because no matter if you 4way SLI or CF... 4 cards scale bad.

4 way is absolute garbage when it comes to scaling in firestrike. Its better in in Extreme and Ultra but at 720p it just sucks

Yeah no worries pretty much same story with 3way... heck yeah benchmark scores look nice, but I can´t even stretch out how much this 2way full watercooled rocks more... at least your 4way is custom watercooled, believe me that 3way on air was a pain in the butt for me.

Because in plain Firestrike you are CPU Bottlenecked, nothing to do with scaling.

Considering I have the fastest chip on the market its a sad sad statement. They should abolish 720p testing
