GPU: MSI HD 7970

GPU Core: 925MHz

Tonight I hit something awesome. I got my 4670K to 4.5GHz, stable, at 1.26v and topping out at 60C with a Hyper 212. This chip is amazing so far.

On the flip side, I absolutely despise this HD 7970 and can't wait for my GTX 970 to get back, which should be monday.

I've had to repaste it twice just to keep it under 80C and from artifacting. Its a cursed card.

Its an old MSI with a reference cooler. It spent a couple years in my brothers system. He never cleaned it or his case so it overheated a lot over the years.

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm sorry for all the waiting but I was pretty occupied from the job side. Now we are back in business with the thread and I appreciate everybody that is willing to submit their results.

But please post me a valid link of your 3D Mark score, otherwise I won't be able to put your score(s) in the spread sheet. Best case scenario please follow the template that can be found on page 1 of this thread or in this post, thank you in advance :).

You need to provide a link please next time. Your time measurement is off, that points to a non stable CPU overclock. But a nice score anyways :).

Youd did not post your own link, please correct that and submit your own 3D Mark link :).

Again people thank you for being so active in this thread and help us to keep this a living data base :).

Alright, got a new score now that I threw a second 980 in my rig.

Benchmark: Firestrike

CPU: FX8370 @ 5.0 GHz

GPU: GTX 980

GPU Core: 1418 MHz

MEM Core: 3829 MHz

Score: 13344

Link: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4641324

CPU definitely holds back the overall score and I can't get as good of an overclock as I can with an individual card (about 100 MHz less on the core) but it's pretty awesome still to just put games cranked and get a constant 60 FPS.

With some wizardry I managed to get overclocking working better.  Turns out the cards were running with mismatched voltages leading to crashes.

Benchmark: Firestrike

CPU: FX8370@4.8GHz

GPU: GTX 980x2

GPU Core: 1519MHz

MEM Core: 3909 MHz

Score:

13654

Link: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4658012

Not a huge improvement in overall score considering the overclock, but I'll take it.
