Never tried the i5 2500k, but I've heard that it is a beast.

 

Personally I've only used Pentium III (shit computers at school) Pentium 4 Prescott i5 750 i7 2670MQ

The only Intel CPU I have ever owned is my 4790k. Other than that I have had only AMD processors, so I suppose my Devil's Canyon 4790K wins by default.
