Is it worth the price? Been considering a ridge myself, but seems like a lot to pay for a wallet. Also how does it work with cards with raised numbers?

I've blown $100 in far stupider ways. I don't really want to say if it's worth it yet where I haven't had it long enough to test durability, but it's not a bad wallet so far. Price and my AirTag clip gripe aside, if you do the cash strap and not the clip it is SUPER fuckin annoying to get said cash out unless you only fold the bills in half instead of quarters, buuuuuut if they're folded in half they're larger than the wallet. THANKFULLY I don't use cash too incredibly often so it's not a huge deal for me.

Not really sure how raised cards would hold up though, all of mine are printed. I have to imagine they'd be fine if you flip flop 'em around.

I'm normal and keep my phone and wallet in separate pockets so thankfully I'd never have to worry about that. 😉 Jokes aside, I have noticed that the damn thing is also oddly good at pressing the panic button on an older GM keyfob. Yesterday we were trying to figure out why a car alarm went off two different times. Turns out it was my car because the smaller edge of the wallet is the perfect size to hit the panic button on my fob.

LED? I put a neutral white high CRI bulb in my fridge and WOW it looks amazing in there and everything is well lit and easy to see and looks more delicious than it is. It's a 60W or 75 equivalent I think, 600-900 lumen, I'd have to go look. Sadly my freezer is not lit and there's not provision for a switch so I can't even add my own lighting.

Just bought this thing to keep my cats safe when I take them outside.

My one cat doesn't like to wander at all and my other cat all she does it wander and when I try to get her closer to her sister, she wiggles out of her harness and escapes.

They seem a bit unsure of it right now but I've taken them both outside with it and they seemed to like the idea.

Hopefully we can continuously use it through the warm months when I can actually take them outside and enjoy it.

Wish Us Luck.

Picked this little doofus up today and got it all set up. A Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3, with the ever fearsome i3 1315U, 8GB of soldered on single channel RAM, a 256GB Samsung PM991, and a shockingly nice 1080p MATTE touchscreen. I'm honestly super happy with this little guy. It's going to be replacing my Acer Aspire 7 A715-A72 which is obviously more powerful and built a bit better, however it was a bit large and the battery life on it sucked absolute chunks. Granted, this i3 isn't exactly a slouch as far as performance goes, for being a little 15w chip with 2P/4E and HT on the PC, it gets pretty close to the Acer's 8750H which was able to suck down 54w.

These USFF systems seem interesting. Especially as a PC you can carry around. Especially since some like the HP 405 G4 with ryzen and decent integrated graphics can be had for like 80£. Anything interesting about these? Do they run particularly hot or do the T-series chips these typically come with run cool enough?

the 7060 is a non t model, so its a full 65 watt, But knowing dell they run a blower CPU cooler that gets air from front and just blasts it out the back.

20k mAh power bank. It feels pretty hefty. It has a weird smooth coating, I think maybe rubberized. Saw a video of someone taking apart a bunch of batteries to see if they were legit. And the batteries of this brand were all as advertised, plus they have a lot of amazon reviews, and they are mostly positive. I bought this from their website so I paid 22£ instead of the 30£ they charge on amazon. The delivery was really quick since they send it from the Amazon warehouse. Their support is also really nice and they respond quickly since the first package I got was empty and they sent one straight away. The battery comes with a short USB C cable and an egg bagg to put the battery in.

I was interested in buying an Anker battery but their cheapest 20k battery costs 33£, only supports 12W charging at 2.4A max with no support for USB PD or quick charge plus the USB C can only be used for charging only and there's a micro USB next to it as well which is kinda annoying even if I don't have to use it. Their closest offering, the PowerCore 20K costs 37£ and that's with a discount.#

So far it's worked great but in about 10 days it's about to get dragged through an airport and a 3-4 hour flight so I'll see how it performs then.

The battery itself is a little shorter and and narrower than an iphone 12 and about twice as thick (including a case on the iphone)

Doesn't do 15/20V PD but if you don't need to power a laptop or such it'll be fine.
