I see this now. And now that I know more about him, it does suck that KZ kinda did him dirty, but on the bright side that also means my dumbass will probably be buying the FHE Eclipses at some point in the not too distant future. Kind of simpy however his "IEF neutral but also bass" curve is kind of a vibe. And the Eclipses overall have a similar curve to the CRNs... But with the sort of motif of "fuck you, bass."

Bought from this seller before and had great luck with their boards. Usually they are just bad sockets.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

I really like that motherboard design, I use the Z590 equivalent in my current pc with an 11900k.

Though I will say the ek basic aio is the first part in my system I replaced because the tubing is awful. It’s a really solid 360mm aio, it looks nice, it performs well, the tubing is so god damn rigid it drove me insane trying to get it to look nice.

I got a Lian li Galahad because of that, the tubing is much more flexible and looks better.

Huron H610 drawing tablet, it’s a basic one, I wanna try a few things out before I commit to the 1000$+ higher end display drawing tablets.

I used one of these ages ago, it’s still putting around and my sister still uses it like 6 years later, so I figured for 50 bucks it’s clearly a good enough option.

doesn’t really fit on my desk that well, might need a bigger desk

also got more thermal pastes for the collection, noctua NT H2 and Arctic MX6

need to get some more options, thinking the rest of the Corsair stuff like TM30 and XTM70, and maybe the rest of arctics lineup or thermal grizzly

but then also variety is king, I should probably find some less popular pastes

Check out this paste review roundup by Tom's; might give you an idea of some pastes to try:

As a side note, I've been using ProlimaTech PK-3 (which ranked Best Premium paste) for a decade now and have seen 2-3 degree drops in temps consistently.

Just arrived, but i’m away from home right now so I can’t check on it until then 😞

But I got a steal of a deal at $330 for a motherboard that generally sells for $500 or so and in this case it comes with a free CPU, the 7820X. The plan is to build the most powerful hackintosh that’s natively supported using a 10980XE and a 6900xt XTXH (Sapphire Toxic). The 7820x is gonna go in a cheaper x299 mobo and we’ll use it as a server and router for our farm, which has multiple houses and a barn on it- all of which need a good internet connection. And I’ll be adding a lot of big HDDs to it, so I can hook up security cams in the server/mechanical room and barn.

Funnily enough Mercari is using the pictures of the motherboard I’ve already bought to advertise to me.

The best way to play Arma 3 is to join a clan... Any clan.

They'll have an excellent mod list and they will play missions or use the "Zeus" tool.

Spoiler

You didn't hear this from me but Finland uses Arma 2 for their military training and West point uses an offshoot of Arma 3 made by bohemia interactive for their training.

Context:

So I stopped using discord because I realized the majority of the discord communities I was in were just inherently toxic, they’re just not nice places to be.

and side note I encourage others to do the same, how many times are you going to secondhand read some dumb ass argument you don’t care about? Mod drama? Watching the clueless be attacked for simply not knowing what the rest of the community considers common knowledge?
nah fuck that

anyway there was a guy in some pc discord I was in who I blocked early on because they had nothing positive to say ever, but they refused to believe the R9 Nano was real

they were convinced it was fake, and r9 nanos for sale were scams, like it was some kind of theoretical product that never hit store shelves

so I bought an r9 nano

FF4BA9A7-BA3C-4B91-A732-E8BD85A137DF.thumb.jpeg.735649f0a6751974ad4ad7be9dd8d7f0.jpeg

For two reasons,

1) I’ve always wanted an r9 nano anyway because they’re cool

2) because now I’m not sure if it’s real either
