I purchased a Silicon Power P34A80 1tb drive to upgrade from the 512gb WD SN530 that came in my Zephyrus G14. Significantly faster drive with an actual DRAM cache, though I doubt I'll see a performance uplift for just gaming, I just wanted more space. I passed the 512gb down to my brother to upgrade the 256gb that came in his Zenbook.

My first time really messing with m.2 drives, and it was alright once I sourced a usb-c external NVMe drive caddy. With that drive caddy, I now have a great 256gb high-speed thumbdrive to store repair tools and keep drivers for my own computers, so that's a nice plus.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

I do that to some of my hard drives so I can store dumps of photos.

Picked up one of these Retrobit 8-button USB Saturn gamepads for $20 mostly to use for MAME, Saturn, and Genesis emulation, but I think it would be pretty solid for NES and PC Engine too. Definitely would be terrible for SNES and PS1 though, as the layout is all off for it.

Love the feel of this D-pad on both this controller and on the Genesis controllers, especially on fighting games in MAME. Tempted to sell my SNES Classic and get a MiSTer to use this on, though no clue if we'll actually ever get that Saturn FPGA core being worked on right now for the MiSTer project.

Got this bad boy as an Amazon Warehouse deal, listed as used - acceptable for 1450€ (new 2150€). Came in today. The card itself looks new, no scrapes or anything. It came with most of the protective film already peeled and one missing HDMI plug. Been running a few stress test just to be sure, no issues whatsoever.

Hopefully that will bring an end to my 9 month of looking for a good deal on a 30series Card.

I worked with these units in a audio lab they are pretty good on Macs.

But I will say my digi design mbox 2 is a absolute nightmare on windows with drivers.

Yeah, it's like they care less and less about Windows drivers. M-Audio is also a total shitstorm.
Really surprised with the Komplete Audio, also sound-wise. Now using it on a mac but I should get a second one for my PC, honestly.

I've recently gotten into woodworking, and while I've bought a bunch of tools my latest is my favourite.

It's a Stanley No.60 ½ [G12-060] Block Plane

(Often called a 6 ½ / 060 ½) it's compact, sharp and goes through wood like a hot knife through butter.

I really like this stuff. I tried their 8g package and was running low so I had to top up. For the price I don’t think it can be beat.

I went over to a local music store and brought home a Metronome. This device is used for teaching Piano and Music Keyboards. I got it for for help me Focus and when doing Breathing Exercises. And of course to help prevent racing thoughts.

https://www.guitarcenter.com/Wittner/Taktell-Piccolo-Metronome-Black-1274115035596.gc?cntry=us&adlclid=6f81ceab240319ecc1c6af94a7837961&source=4WWRWXML&msclkid=6f81ceab240319ecc1c6af94a7837961&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=[ADL] [GC] [LIA] [Curbside Pickup] - (Accessories - Other) - {GQ}&utm_term=4578572612159259&utm_content=[LIA] Accessories - Other (GC)

Right now trying this out and still have to do some adjustments for the right settings. I may learn to play an Instrument.

I paid ~$65 for it.

You breath in, hold, then slowly exhale using your nose. You do have to adjust the Metronome so the sound is softer and the Arm moves slower.

I mean, for 10 bucks it's worth the gamble.
The Komplete Audio is absolutely flawless on Windows (and mac) here.
As for a used MBP: Got a screen? Then get the Mac Mini. The M1 is an absolute beast, by far the best of the series.
Otherwise you might be better off getting the new M1 Air. It's better than any macbook (literally, any) and cheaper than before. I'd get the 16gb version for future proofing but other than that, go base :D.
(not a macfreak, I live with both these days)

Also I would try (for myself) get a iconnectivity model...
